Delete your account and data

GLPMate — the GLP-1 tracker app published by eleutheromania (app id app.eleutheromania.glpmate) — lets you delete your account and the data linked to it at any time, for free. Deletion is not hidden behind a support ticket: you can start it yourself in two ways.

Option 1 — delete inside the app (fastest)

• Open GLPMate and go to the Settings tab.
• Under Reminders & privacy, tap Privacy & permissions.
• Scroll to the DELETE section and tap Delete account. If you have never signed in, the row reads Delete my local data — it does the same thing for a device-only account.
• Confirm twice: “Delete your account?” → Continue, then “Delete forever?” → Delete forever.
• You are signed out immediately, everything stored on the device is wiped, and the app returns to its first-run state.

Option 2 — request deletion by email (no app needed)

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot open it, email [email protected] from the address on your account with the subject “Account deletion request”. We verify that you own the account before anything is deleted, then start the same process. Requests are handled within 30 days at the latest — in practice within a business day or two. An email request covers the data on our servers only; anything stored on your phone is removed by using Option 1 or by uninstalling the app.

What happens, and when

• Immediately. Your account is closed and access is revoked: sign-in tokens stop working, cloud backup and the AI assistant are cut off, and — if you deleted from inside the app — every record on your device is wiped on the spot.
• For 7 days (grace period). Your server-side data is held, unreachable, in case you change your mind. Signing in again during those 7 days restores your account with your data and cancels the deletion. This is the only way to undo it.
• After 7 days — and no later than 30 days. Everything is permanently erased and the encryption keys for your data are destroyed, so any remaining copies (including routine backups that age out on their normal schedule) cannot be read by anyone, including us. From this point deletion cannot be undone.

What is deleted

Everything below is erased from our servers, including all of the health data you logged or imported:

• Your account record and sign-in identity — email, and any Apple or Google sign-in link — plus all authentication tokens and sessions.
• Doses and medication data — logged shots, injection sites, medications, dose schedule and titration steps.
• Weight and body data — weight entries, BMI history and body measurements.
• Symptoms and side effects, including severity history and trends.
• Other health logs — water/hydration, sleep, glucose, blood pressure and appetite entries.
• Meals and nutrition — meal entries, food items and macro history.
• Reminders and goals you set up, and the device records used to send you notifications.
• Your profile — name and the personal details you entered during onboarding.
• Assistant data — chat history, what the assistant remembered about you, uploaded attachments (lab reports, documents, photos and voice notes), values extracted from them, and generated reports such as the doctor report.
• Cloud backup and sync copies of all of the above, plus lab results and imports.

Progress photos never reach us

Body and progress photos are stored only on your phone — they are never uploaded to our servers, so there is nothing on our side to delete. Deleting your account from inside the app removes them from the device, and uninstalling GLPMate removes them too.

What is kept, and for how long

• Purchase and subscription records, if you ever subscribed. Apple and Google process every payment and keep their own records under their policies; we never see your card details. On our side we may keep a minimal, anonymized transaction record with your identity stripped out, only as long as tax and accounting law requires, and then delete it.
• Aggregated and anonymized analytics and safety counters. These carry no identifier that can be linked back to you, which is why they survive deletion — they are statistics, not your data.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription

Subscriptions are billed by the app stores, so they have to be cancelled there: on iPhone via Settings → your name → Subscriptions → GLPMate, on Android via Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → GLPMate. Cancel before you delete, or you will keep being charged for an account you no longer have.
