What can the GLPMate assistant actually do?
Two things, both real: answer questions from your own data (“how did my nausea trend after the 5 mg step?”) using 19 read tools, and log entries you describe in plain words using 13 write tools — meals, weight, sleep, water, glucose, blood pressure, appetite, side effects and more. Every write needs your confirmation.
Will it ever change my data without asking?
No. Every write is confirmation-gated: the assistant shows you exactly what it wants to save and saves nothing until you approve it. You remain the editor of your record.
How do I know what data it read to answer me?
Every answer lists “used data” chips — the categories it read, like Nutrition or Dose history. No silent reading, no mystery context.
Can I limit what the assistant sees?
Yes — 13 permission switches, one per data category. Turn one off and the assistant can’t read that category at all. The switches live in Settings, not buried in a policy.
Does the assistant give medical advice?
No. It never gives dosing or medical advice, and it’s trained to redirect to your prescriber — or emergency services — when a question crosses into clinical territory. That red line is part of its design, not a disclaimer.
Which languages does it speak?
Yours. The assistant converses in the same 49 languages the app is translated into — logging “kahvaltıda 2 yumurta” works exactly like “2 eggs for breakfast”.
Is the assistant free?
The assistant is a Premium feature with a free quota to try. Core tracking — shots, levels, weight, reminders — stays free forever either way. Pricing is public: $7.99/month or $69.99/year.
