### How does GLPMate estimate my medication level?

With a standard pharmacokinetic model (one-compartment, first-order absorption) parameterized per medication from FDA clinical-pharmacology data — half-life, time-to-peak — and driven by your actual logged doses and cadence. It’s an educational estimate, not a blood measurement.

### Why do I feel different on shot day than the day before my next shot?

Your level peaks 1–3 days after a weekly injection, then declines toward a trough before the next dose. Many people notice appetite, energy and side effects tracking that curve. Seeing your estimated position on it turns “why do I feel off today?” into “ah — trough day.”

### What is steady state?

The point where drug intake and elimination balance out, so your weekly curve repeats in a stable band — typically after 4–5 half-lives at the same dose (about a month for semaglutide). GLPMate shows the steady-state band and how far along you are.

### Does the curve handle dose changes and unusual schedules?
